A pursuer of experience, Joel has backpacked southern Africa, traveled with a rock band, and worked across the markets of architecture, high-tech, entertainment, tourism, and non-profit. Joel has held positions including Director of Marketing, Marketing Manager, and Senior Project Manager working with Brands both big and small as he’s traveled and worked internationally.

Design is an essential part of creating lovable Brands. Joel has a talent for setting the direction of art…tone, mood, and style, while collaborating with artists who share his passion for well designed products and experiences. Joel has a wicked eye for what looks sharp. Always thinking about the audience and what creates surprise, every piece of art that goes out must evoke an emotion and build upon brand strategies.
On Technical Development
As marketing digitizes and customers gain access to the ‘long-tail’ of choices, tailored technical solutions have increased in their need and speed to be deployed. Having managed technical development teams across web and social media applications, software and control solutions, as well as data and optimization analysis, Joel’s technical acumen is heads above many traditional marketers. Able to navigate technical decisions quickly with as little ‘tech pain’ as possible, Joel rounds out his design and visionary skills with a technical depth that is most welcomed.
On Photography
Purely a hobby, Joel views photography as an extension of his personality and style. Primarily focused on architecture and landscapes that evoke emotion, his photography has followed his interest in marketing, design, and architecture.
